“Rupa” (1946) was directed by someone called Azir (if online sources are to be believed). The movie had Jillo, Surekha, Ratan Mala, Biman Banerjee, Agha etc in it.
Here is a rare song from this obscure movie. This song is sung by Rajkumari. This movie had two lyricist, viz Ram Murty Chaturvedi and I C Kapoor and it is not known who wrote which songs of the movie. If YT commentors are to be believed then every song from this movie was written by Ram Murty Chaturvedi. I request out knowledgeable readers to throw light on this movie as well as on this song, including its picturisation and its lyricist.
