“Neeli” (1950) was directed by Ratibhai Punatar for Ranjit Films Company. The movie had Dev Anand, Suraiya, Agha, Shyama, Dulari, Cuckoo etc in it.

Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie. This song is sung by Suraiyya. Surjit Sethi is the lyricist. Music is composed by S Mohinder.

Only the audio of this song is available. It is easy to guess though that the song is picturised on Suraiyya herself.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Nitin Shah.

Song-Haaye ye judaayi ki chot buri(Neeli)(1950) Singer-Suraiyya, Lyrics-Surjit Sethi, MD-S Mohinder

Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)

haaye ae
ye judaayi ki chot buri ee
chot buri hai
dil chain naa paaye
haaye yeh judaayi ki

haaye yeh judaayi ki
haaye yeh judaayi ki chot buri ee
chot buri hai
dil chain naa paaye
haaye yeh judaayi ki

abhi huye naa zakhm puraane
abhi huye naa zakhm puraane
yaad lagi phir se tadpaane
yaad lagi phir se tadpaane
bhool ja ae dil beete zamaane
bhool ja ae dil beete zamaane
khud kyun aag lagaaye ae
khud kyun aag lagaaye
haaye yeh judaayi ki
haaye yeh judaayi ki chot buri ee
chot buri hai dil chain naa paaye
haaye yeh judaayi ki

dil ka aaina aa toot gaya hai
dil ka aaina aa toot gaya hai
mera naseeba phhoot gaya hai
mera naseeba phhoot gaya hai
zabt ka daaman chhoot gaya hai
zabt ka daaman chhoot gaya hai
koi naa dheer bandhaaye ae
koi naa dheer bandhaaye
haaye yeh judaayi ki
haaye yeh judaayi ki chot buri ee
chot buri hai
dil chain naa paaye
haaye yeh judaayi ki
