“Bindiya” (1960) was directed by Panju for Kamal Brothers Pvt Ltd. The movie had Balraj Sahni, Padmini, Jagdeep,David, Siddhu,Om prakash, Rajendranath, Vijaya Chowdhury, Jayashree Gadkar, Minoo Mumtaz, Lalita Pawar, Achala Sachdev,Neelam, Hanumanthachary, L.R.Mudaliyar, Master Ashok, Master Basant, Master Saiyyeed, Baby Dalby etc in it.

This song is sung by Rafi and Lata. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Iqbal Qureshi.
The song is picturised on Jagdeep and Vijaya Chaudhary. It was one of those movies where Jagdeep was signed up to play a hero. Unfortunately his mannerisms would continue to be that of a comedian even when he would play a hero. This movie is no different and so one can safely say that this nice song had been wasted by the way it has been pocturised. This song is better heard than watched.
