“Daastaan” (1972) was produced and directed by B R Chopra. The movie had Dilip Kumar, Sharmila Tagore, Iftekhar, Bindu, I. S. Johar, Jayshree T., Padma Khanna, Madan Puri, Nana Palsikar, Manmohan Krishnan, Keshav Rana, Prem Chopra, Badri Prasad, Sachin etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the fourth song from the movie. It is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. Music is composed not by Ravi (the usual music director of B R Films), but by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
The grapevine had it that B R Chopra was not happy with the result of his association with Laxmikant Pyarelal in this movie and he reverted back to Ravi as the music director of his subsequent movies.

Daastan-72, produced and directed by B. R. Chopra and remake of his directorial debut “Afsana-51.
Thanks Avinasbhai for reminding this song and the movie which I had seen on Doordarshan in late 70s may be. But I was not aware of the above mentioned fact at that time.

above video link provided with post, has got many interruptions and the video is choppy(with scenes jumping from here and there), the new video link contains only 1st stanza, Whether the 2nd stanza was edited or deleted from vcd/dvd print, God only knows.
