“Saheli” (1965) was produced by Sirishchandra Poddar and directed by Arjun Hingorani for Shree Raaj pictures. The movie had Pradeep Kumar, Kalpana Mohan, Babloo, Rajendranath, Sulochana Chatterjee, Vijaya Chaudhary, Murad, Pratima Devi, Tuntun, Paul Sharma, Polson, V. Kumar(Introducing), Sushil Kumar, JankiDass, Johnny Whisky, Bhudo Advani, Yunus Parwaiz etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata. It is picturised as a piano song in a get together song situation. Kalpana sits of a piano and sings this sad song while Vijaya Chaudhary dances on it and Pradeep Kumar looks on. There are other guests also in the picturisation, but they all look on impassively in the true tradition of Hindi movie piano cum get together songs.
