“Ramman” (1954) was a Metropolitan Films Production. It was produced by Gemini Dewan and directed by Hiren Bose. The movie had Karan Dewan, Meena Shorey, Cuckoo, Om Prakash, Purnima, Majnu, Gulab, Randhir, V. Panchotia etc in it.

Two songs from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the third song from the movie to appear in the blog.
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Aziz Kashmiri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Vinod.

Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on this movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Nitin Shah.

Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)

udaas nazron se poochh leeje
ae ae ae ae
main kya bataaun sawaaal kya hai
udaas nazron se poochh leeje
udaas nazron se poochh leeje
main kya bataaun sawaal kya hai
usi tamanna mein mar rahe hain
kabhi to poochho ke haal kya hai

hamen to dil ki lagi ne aakhir ir ir
hamen to dil ki lagi ne aakhir
tumhaare kadmon mein laa ke chhoda
tumhaaare kadmon mein laa ke chhoda
hamaare aansoo ye poochhte hain
hamaare aansoo ye poochhte hain
tumhe hamaara khayaal kya hai
usi tamanna mein mar rahe hain
kabhi to poochho ke haal kya hai

unhen to aata hai dil jalaana
aa aa
unhen to aata hai dil jalaana
khushi se ashqon se muskuraana
khushi se ashqon se muskuraana
tumhen qasam hai tumhi bata do
tumhen qasam hai tumhi bata do
ke aur koi ??? kya hai
usi tamanna mein mar rahe hain
kabhi to poochho ke haal ke haal kya hai
udaas nazron se poochh leeje
ham kya bataayen sawaal kya hai
