“Chandidas”(1934) was directed by Nitin Bose for New Theatres, Calcutta. The movie had K L Saigal, Uma Shashi, M Nawab, M Anwari, I H Siddiqui, Pahadi Sanyal, Parbati Devi, Anwari Bai etc in it.
Six songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the seventh song from the movie. This rare song is sung by Uma Shashi. Agha Hashr Kashmiri is the lyricist. Music is composed by R C Boral.
Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song was picturised on Uma Shashi hermself.
