“Ek Kali Muskaayi”(1968) was a Panchdeep Chitra Production. The movie was directed by Vasant Joglekar. This movie was meant to introduce the director’s daughter, viz. Meera Joglekar as a lead actress in Hindi movies. Here she was cast opposite Joy Mukherjee. Other actors in the cast included Ashok Kumar, Mehmood, Om prakash, Nirupa Roy, Lalita Pawaar, Nana Palsikar, Sunder, Neelam, Malika etc.
The movie as well as the debutant actress failed to create any ripples at the box office and elsewhere, though.
The movie had some nice songs in it and they too suffered as a result.
AS many as six songs from the movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the seventh and final song from the movie. This song is sung by Rafi. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.
Only the audio of this song is available which suggests that this song was perhaps not picturised and was an excluded song from the movie. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
With this song, “Ek Kali Muskaayi”(1968) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.

Lyrics
aa aa
aa
aa
aa
aa aa aa
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
basi hai jiske andar
teri tasveer jaana na
ke main hoon tera deewaana
aa aa aa
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
basi hai jiske andar
teri tasveer jaana na
ke main hoon tera deewaana
aa aa aa
aa aa aa
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
basi hai jiske andar
teri tasveer jaana na
ke main hoon tera deewaana aa
aa aa aa
ye teri chonch meri chonch se kaise milegi
bahut hairaan hoon
dil ki kali kaise khilegi
ye teri chonch meri chonch se kaise milegi
bahut hairaan hoon
dil ki kali kaise khilegi
jo mil jaaye ye to sochen
to dushman milke ye sochen
ke tu hai meri deewaani
ya main hoon tera deewaana
aa aa aa
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandir
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
basi hai jiske andar
teri tasveer jaana na
ke main hoon tera deewaana
aa aa aa
lage jo pyaas tujhko
khoon main apna pila doon
lage jo bhookh tujhko
dil ka main keema khila doon
lage jo pyaas tujhko
khoon main apna pila doon
lage jo bhookh tujhko
dil ka main keema khila doon
teri khaatir jo mar jaaun
bada hi kaam kar jaaun
ye hai mera afsaana
ke mai hoon tera deewaana
aa aa aa
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
mere jungli kabootar
mera dil ek mandar
basi hai jiske andar
teri tasveer jaana na
ki main hoon tera deewaana
aa aa aa
aa aa aa
aaa aaa
