“Hamaari Yaad Aayegi” (1961) was a Showpeople production. This movie was directed by Kidar Sharma. The movie had Ashok Sharma, Tanuja, Anant Kumar, Sujata, Vijay, Madhvi, Dubey etc in it.
As many as eight songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the ninth song from this movie. This song is picturised on Tanuja and a young kid playing her brother and they are shown singing this song on streets.
The singers of this song are not indentified in HFGK or any other sites. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them. The kid playing Tanuja’s brother is also required to be identified.
Kidar Sharma is the lyricist. Music is composed by Snehal Bhatkar.
I have not been able to get some words right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to point out the missing/ correct words.

I listened carefully to ‘kaaya ka pinjra doley re…panchhi kaahe hot udaas’ part of the song and I am pretty sure that one of the voices is that of Mubarak Begum. I am not sure of other voice whether it is Suman Kalyanpur.

It is chorus song making it difficult to identify the voices. Could it be Suman and Mubarak? More you hear it is them.
