“Punar Milan”(1964) was produced and directed by Ravindra Dave for Nagina Films. The movie had Balraj Sahni, Leela Chitnis, Jagdeep, Shashikala, Ameeta, Padma devi, Mumtaz Begum, Asit Sen, Amarnath, Raja Nene, Narmada Shankar, Gulshan, Child Shaheed, Shyamlal, Aruna etc in it.

Today (13 april 2015) is the birth anniversary of Gulshan Bawra (13 april 1937-7 august 2009). Here is a song from “Punar Milan”(1964) on this occasion.
This song is sung by Rafi. Gulshan Bawra is the lyricist. Music is composed by C Arjun.
Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to say how and on whom this song was picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

PS-I find some online sites citing Gulshan Bawra’s date of birth as 12 april 1937. Our anniversary page mentions the date as 13 april 1937. We stick by our date, of course, till it is proved wrong.

Today in fact is the death anniversary of Balraj Sahni. (1 May 1913 – 13 April 1973).
