“Prem Nagar”(1940) was was produced and directed by M Bhavnani. The movie had Bimla Kumari, Ramanand, Husn Bano, Rai Mohan, Fanty Prasad, Nagendra, Girish, Salu, Sheil Prabha, Gulzar etc in it.
Seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from “Prem Nagar”(1940). This song is a group song and it does not seem to have an identifiable lead voice. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by Naushad, who was making his debut as a music director with this song.
I have not been able to get some words right in the lyrics. I request our readers with keener ears to help fill in the missing words/ suggest corrections in the lyrics as applicable.
