“Karma”(1933) was directed by J J Freer Hunt for Himanshu Rai Indo International Talkies, Bombay. Tmovie had Devika Rani, sudha Rani, Himansu Rai, Dewan Sharar, Abraham Sofire, Ghanshyam etc in it.
This was the first Hindi movie employing western (British) collaboration. It had British director and even a British music director in it.
One song from this movie has been discussed in the past. Here is the second song from the movie.
This song is sung by Devika Rani. Lyricist is not mentioned in HFGK, but the script writer Deewan Sharar could well be the lyricist.
Music is composed by Ernst Broadhurst and that explains the English style singing in this song.
Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song was picturised on Devika Rani herself.
