“Mehlon Ke Khwaab”(1960) was produced by Madhubala under the banner of Madhubala Pvt. Ltd. The film was directed by Muhafiz Hyder. The star cast included Madhubala, Pradeep Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Chanchal, Pran, K N Singh, Om Prakash, Praveen Paul, Rashid Khan, Sulochana Chaterjee, Cuckoo etc.
The movie had seven songs in it. As many as six songs from the movie have already been discussed in the past.
Here is the seventh and final song from “Mehlon Ke Khwaab”(1960) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by S Mohinder.
The song is picturised as a club dance song. The situation is a fancy dress ball, wherein all characters wear masks and are in disguise. One can identify Cuckkoo lip syncing in Asha Bhonsle’s voice. All major characters in the movie viz. Kishore Kumar, Chanchal, Madhubala, Pran, Om Prakash etc are visible in the picturisation.
