“Aabroo”(1943) was directed by Nazeer for Hind Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Sitara Devi, Yakoob, Nazeer, Jagdish, Masood, Shakir, Vatsala Kumthekar, Laddan, Chanda Bai, Janardan Sharma etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Sitara Devi and G M Durrani. Lyrics are penned by a lyricist mentioned as “Hasrat”. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on him. Music is composed by Pt Govindram.
The song is picturised on Sitara Devi herself alongwith a gentleman playing her piya whom I have not been able to identify. I seek the assistance of our knowledgeable readers to help identify him.

This song has been fully repeated towards the end of the film. The lyrics, the singers and the tune are the same. Only there is a change in the picturisation of the song. So this is not the version song but the repeat of the song. Video link below:
