“Seema”(1971), though a movie of 1970s and therefore a movie of recent vintage by the standards of this blog, has been forgotten with time whereas “Seema”(1955) is still remembered. “Seema”(1971) was directed by Surendra Mohan for Filmnagar, Bombay. The movie had Simy Garewal, Kabir Bedi, Bharti, Rakesh Roshan, Chand Usmani, Abhi Bhattacharya, Raj Mehra, Yashodhara Katju, V Gopal, Gopal Sehgal, Bhola, Brahm Bhardwaj, Sulochana, Padma Khanna etc in it.
Though I was not aware of the movie even those days when it was supposed to have released, I was aware of its songs though without being aware that they were from this movie. Two songs of “Seema”(1971) have been discussed in the past.
Here is the third song from the movie to appear in the blog. this song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Kishore Kumar. Verma Malik is the lyricist. Shankar Jaikishan composed the music. Curiously enough, they were the music directors of “Seema”(1955) as well. 🙂
The song is picturised on Bharati and Rakesh Roshan. One can see Rakesh Roshan apeing the mannerisms of Rajesh Khanna while Bharati is seem apeing the mannerisms of Farida Jalal, the hit pair of “Aradhana”. 🙂

Hullo atulji
As you always say “heard this song first tym today” but I beg to differ that there is no rajesh khanna in rakesh roshans’ mannerism it looks more like shashi kapoor’s😁
