“Chaand Sitaare”(1948) was directed by Ishwar Chand Kapoor for Ravindra Art Productions, Bombay. The movie had Jeevan, Manorama, Rajan Haksar, Niranjan Sharma, Anita, Satish, Leela etc in it. The movie had eight songs in it.As many as four songs from the movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the fifth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Though Ishwar Chand Kapoor and Aziz Kashmiri were listed as the two lyricists of this movie, the lyricist of this song is not known. Premnath (the music director) composed the music.
