Kuldeep (1946) was directed by N Vaswani for Maya Arts Productions, Bombay. The movie had Vijay Mohini, Tasneem, Madan Puri, Bhudo Advani, Sheikh, Gulzar,Azad, Basheer, Amir Bano etc in it.
There were 9 songs in the movie that were as obscure as the movie itself.

Here is the second song from “Kuldeep”(1946) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Mohantara Talpade. Nava Naqvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sushant Bannerji.
What a lovely joie de vivre genre of song it is! The lady is full of joy as she is scheduled to meet her piya. I think her feeling is similar to the feelings of eager expectation of our regulars who are going to have their meeting (aka Gangout) at Mumbai a couple of hours from now. Here is hoping that this gangout will be a memorable affair for the participants. I had participated in the Mumbai gangout that had taken place nearly two years ago in december 2014 at the same venue. The memories of that meeting are still fresh in my mind as if it happened just the other day. This time I am not able to participate. I will wait for the live updates from the meeting. Last time I (in two post) and Sudhir ji (in several posts) covered the meet. Many of our regular contributors will be participating in this meeting and I hope to have their writeups after the meeting is over. I wish this meet a grand success
