“Dil”(1946) was directed by S F Hasnain for Fazlli brothers, Bombay.. The movie had Noorjahaan, Abdul Latif, Baby Zubaida, Amina, A M Khan, Kamal, Geeta Bose, Ghory, Bhudo Advani, Anwari, Razi, Anees etc in it. etc in it.
This movie had ten songs in it. As many as seven of these songs (including all Noorjahaan songs) have been covered in the blog.
That leaves three more songs from the movie to be covered. These three songs are rare songs, but fortunately they are available.
Here is the eighth song from “Dil”(1946) to appear in the blog. This song is credited to Prabodh Dey. He is none other than our well known Manna Dey, who at that time was a struggling playback singer.
Lyricist of this song is not known. Music is composed by Zafar Khursheed.
Only the audio of this song is available. From the audio one can guess that it is a standard “remonstrating with the Almighty” genre of song. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

Atul ji, Never heard this song, though it sounds akin to similar tune heard.. It is nevertheless appealing song from My favorite Manna Dey.
