We have already discussed nearly 50 % of all the Rafi songs that he has sung in HFM. But we continue to find lots and lots of great Rafi songs that are not yet covered in the blog.
For every Rafi song that we have discussed today (24 december 2016) on the occasion of his 92nd birth anniversary today, I had to leave at least the same number (if not more) of some superb Rafi songs that I came across, to be used in future.
Here is a nice Rafi song that I heard for the first time only just now.
This rare song is from “Sabak”(1950). This song, the seventh from the movie to appear in the blog is sung by Rafi and Surinder Kaur. D N Madhok is the lyricist. Music is composed by A R Qureshy.
Only the audio of this “Chaand” song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
