“Bolti Bulbul”(1942) aka “Shaahi Fakeer” was directed by Dhirubhai Desai for Vishnu Cinetone, Bombay. This fantassy movie had Anil Kumar, zebunnisa, Mehar Sultana, sardar Mansoor, Nawaz, Mumtaz, S Nazir, Samson, Ali, Mirajkar, Shahzaadi, Alaknanda etc in it.
This obscure movie had seven highly obscure songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Bolti Bulbul”(1942) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafiq Ghaznavi and Amirbai Karnataki. Though there were three lyricists in the movie but their work distribution among the seven songs is not known.
Music is composed by K C Verma.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
