“Shreemati 420″(1956) was produced and directed by G P Sippy. The movie had Meena Shorey, Johny Walker, Om Prakash, Kamal, Rajan Kapoor, Maya Das, Helen, Hari Shivdasani, Manorama, Baby Shashi, Uma Dutt, Ratan Gaurang etc in it.
This movie had nine songs in it. Seven of these songs have been discussed in the past.
Here is the eighth song from “Shreemati 420″(1956) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafi and Shamshad Begam. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by O P Nayyar.
Only the audio of this song is available. I requested our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
After this song, only one more song is left. But this song, a Shamshad Begam song-“tum to hamre man meinb Bhagwan banke” does not seem to be available. So unless this song gets located, “Shreemati 420″(1956) will remain unYIPPEED and joins the list of movies whose final songs are not available , at least for now.
