“Maala”(1951), not to be confused with “Maala”(1941) is such an obscure movie that details about its producer, director or actors are not available. It is known that this movie was produced under the banner of Bharat Art Production, Bombay and that is all.
The exact number of songs in the movie is not known. Details of five songs from the movie are given in HFGK, and all these songs are as obscure as any songs can be.
Here is the first song from “Maala”(1951) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Utpala Sen. Lyricist is not known. HFGK mentions Gaur Goswami and Sauren Pal as the music directors of this movie.
