“Teer aur Talwaar”(1960) was produced by Kedar Bhargav and directed by Muhammad Hussain for Film Makers, Bombay. The movie had Shashikala, Kamran, Kamal Mehra, Shaam Kumar, Habeeb, Indra, Amrit Rana, Tuntun, Munshi Munakka, Kamal Mohan, Rafiq, Maula, Raja Amrohi, Arvind Kumar, Balaram, Hanuman, Dhondhoo, Sultan, Sabir, Jeewankala, Madhumati, Yusuf Azad Qawwal, Sheila Kashmiri etc in it.
This obscure movie had sixx obscure songs in it. Here is the first song from “Teer aur Talwaar”(1960) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Farooque Kaiser is the lyricist. Music is composed by Nisar (who I think is same as Nisar Bazmi).
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
