“Milaap”(1972) was directed by B R Ishara for Nitin Films International, Bombay. This “social” movie had Shatrughan Sinha and Reena Roy in lead roles (for the first time). Danny Danzongpa, Sarita, Manmohan Krishn, Shukla, Abbas Sheikh, Phatik Majumdar, Amal Sen, Mishri lal, Fazlu, Shiv Kumar etc were also there in the movie.
The movie had four songs in it. Three of these songs have been covered in the blog.
I thought that the remaining song from the movie was a rare song. But when I listened to this song, I realised that I had listened to this song many a times, though I was not aware about the fact that this song was from Milaap”(1972)”.
Here is the fourth and final song from “Milaap”(1972) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Naqsh Llayalpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Brij Bhushan.
The song is picturised as a roadside dance song on Reena Roy, and her dance performance is being watched by very few people, and that sparse audience includes Shatrughan Sinha.
With this rollicking song, “Milaap”(1972) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
