“Saanjh Ki Bela”(1980) was produced by Jagdish Kumar and directed by Madhusudan for J K’s Bombay. The movie had Joy Mukherjee, Nutan, Rehman, Bindu, Laxmi Chhaya, Rancha Sarang, Satyen Kappu, Sapru, Bipin Gupta, I S Johar, Raj Mehra, Pratima Devi, Satish Arora, Iftekhar, Ratna, Birbal, Jankidas, Vimla, Uma Khosla, Geetanjali, Sharmaji, Goyel, Suraj Kumar, Supariwala, Lav Kush, Suparna Biswas etc in it.
This movie had three songs in it. Two of these songs have been discussed in the past. The third and final song is an obscure song and its availability was coming in the way of YIPPYing this movie.
Now that I have managed to locate this rare song, here is this third and final song from “Saanjh Ki Bela”(1980) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Sharda. Ravi is the lyricist as well as the music director.
Video of this rare song is available. It is seen that this song is the movie opening song as credits roll on the screen and this song gets played in the background. The song is picturised on a disconsolate Nutan.
The video misses some parts and as a result, some parts of the song get cut and are not clear. However, something is better than nothing.
With this song, “Saanjh Ki Bela”(1980) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
