“Mohan”(1947), a forgotten movie by now, was directed by Anadinath Bannerji for Famous Pictures, Bombay. It had Hemawati, dev Anand, Alka Achrekar, Vimla Vashisht, But Kashar, Gokhle, Rane, Karadkar, Mishra etc in it.
This movie, the second released movie of Dev Anand, had seven obscure songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Mohan”(1947) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by an unknown male voice. Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Husnlal Bhagatram.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the identity of the singer as well as on the pivcturisation of this song.
