“Bhedi Bangla”(1949), an obscure B grade mystery movie was directed by Bhagwan for Jagriti Pictures, Bombay. This movie had Baburao, Bhagwan, Azim, Shankar Mirajkar, Inamdar, K K Swami, Leela Gupte, Usha Shukla, Tarabai etc in it.
There were eight songs in the movie. One song from the movie has been covered in the blog.
Here is the second song from “Bhedi Bangla”(1949) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata. Ehsan rizvi is the lyricist. The music is archtypically C Ramchandra, but music director’s credit has been given to P Ramakant. We in this blog know that C Ramchandra tended to give music is B grade music under the names of his assistants, for instance P Ramakant, as in case of this movie.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song. The song sounds like a forgotten gem that deserves to be better known among music lovers.
