“Naya Aadmi”(1956) was produced by M Somasundaram and directed by Jupiter Pictures, Madras. This movie was basically a dubbed movie where the dialogues as well as songs were re recorded in Hindi. The movie had Anjali Devi, N T Ramarao, Jamuna, Ram Sharma, Raagini, Anwar Hussain, RajaSulochana, Gope, Helen, R Nagendra Rao etc in it.
Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and chorus. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist.
The music director was Vishwanathan Ramamurthy in the original version. HFGK is silent about the music director of this song. According to Madan Mohan’s official site, Madan Mohan had composed music for three songs in the Hindi dubbed version and this song is not among those three songs. So it follows that the song under question is composed by Vishwanathan Rammurty.
Only the audio of this song is available. It sounds like a dance song. I requestb our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
