“Biwi”(1950) was directec by Kishore Sharma for Paristan Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Mumtaz Shanti, Veena, Madhuri, Naasser, Pran, Ram Lal, Murad, Gulnaar, Anjaam, Shabnam, Sheila Verman etc in it.
The movie had 13 songs in it that were composed by Sharma Jee (aka Khayyaam) and Aziz Hindi. Khayyaam’s name figures as music director for four of these songs.
Here is the second song from “Biwi” (1950) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. HFGK is silent about the lyrics but the YT uploader of this song mentions Nazim Panipati as the lyricist. Khayyaam is the music director.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
