“Ek Kadam”(1947) was directed by Ramnik Desai for Sunrich Productions, Bombay. This “social”movie had Damyanti Sahni, Ansari, Raj Kachlu, Gayatri, Baburao etc in it. Neither the movie nor the actors ring any bells. That is how obscure this movie is.
Even the number of songs in this movie are not known. HFGK lists six songs and leaves blanks indicating that the movie had other songs as well whose details are not known.
