“Birhan”(1948) was directed by Kailash Bhandari for National Film Producers, Bombay. The movie had Roopa, Pran, Begam Parveen, Gul Zamaan, Ram Lal, Zaheer, Nafees Begam, Krishna Rane, Cuckkoo etc in it.
The movie had twelve songs in it that were penned by two lyricists vz. Bekal and Sarshar Sailaani but the distribution of songs among the two is not known.
Four songs from the movie has been covered in the past.
Here is the fifth song from “Birhan”(1948) to appear in the blog. HFGK is slent about the singer of the song. The uploader mentions the singer as Dilshad Begam. Lyricist is not known. Music is composed by Pt Lachchiram.
