“Sakhi Lutera”(1955) was produced by F C Mehra and directed by Mohammad Hussain for Eagle Films, Bombay. The movie had Habib, Kamran Khan, Kamal Mehra, Pran, Randhir, Shashikala, Rajan Kapoor, Nazir Kashmiri, Amrut Rana, Kammo, Gani, Daaud, Mohammed Sandow etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. One song from the movie has been covered in the past.
Here is the second song from “Sakhi Lutera”(1955) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Mubarak Begam. Farooque Kaiser is the lyricist. Music is composed by Iqbal.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
