“Mall Road”(1962) was directed by Viren Dablish for Indira Films, Bombay. The movie had Chandrashekhar, Sangeeta, Amrit Rana, Kammo Tripathi, Surya Kumar, Bela Bose, Radheyshyam, Ratna, Saroj, Alok Verma, SR Sharma, Bagla, Srikant Sharma, Nepali, Roshan, Dalda, Munshi ji etc in it.
This obscure movie had seven songs in it. Two of these songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the third song from “Mall Road”(1962) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Rafi. Veren Dablish is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sudarshan.
Only the audio of the song is available. The lyrics clearly show that the song is a drunkard song. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
