“Jaise Ko Taisa”(1973) was directed by M Murugan and M Kumaran for A V M Productions, Madras. This “social” movie had Jeetendra, Reena Roy, Anwar Hussain , Ramesh Deo, Kamini Kaushal, Roja Ramani, Mohan Choti, Dinesh Hingoo, Rajan, Shree Vidya (new discovery), Rajnath, Anand, S L Narayan, Madhukar, Poornam Vishwanathan, Bihari, Ramchandra Rao etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. One song has been covered in the past. That was the only song from the movie that was aware of.
Here is the second song from “Jaise Ko Taisa”(1973) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Kishore Kumar. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.
The song is picturised as a “teasing” song on Jeetendra and Reena Roy. The “teased” viz Reena Roy begins to respond to the advances of the teaser as the song progresses. That way, this “teasing” song duly follows the template of this genre of song in Hindi movies.
The movie has a few lines by a female as well, which I guess are uttered by Reena Roy herself.
I heard this song for the first time only today, some 45 years after this song was created. 🙂
