“Khota Paisa”(1958) was produced and directed by M Sadiq. The movie had Johny Walker and Shyama in lead roles. Others in the movie included Veena, Jeewan, S N Banerjee, Dhumal, Ansari, Amir Bano, Indira Bansal, Rajan Haksar, Sagar, Munshi Munakka, Keshav Rana, Kathana, Cuckoo, Soofi, Balaram, Suresh Kumar, Jeewan Kala etc.
The movie had seven songs in it. Four of these songs have been covered in the past.
Today ( 10 march 2020) is Holi, the festival of colours. On this occasion, here is a Holi song from “Khota Paisa”(1958).
This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and chorus. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Madan Mohan.
The song is picturised on Dhumal, Jeevan, Shyama, Johny Walkar, Cuckoo, Amir Bano etc.
