We can observe that four movies (out of six) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago (on 26 november 2012) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with two movies that are still eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (26 november 2022).
“Jal Bin Machhli Nritya Bin Bijli”(1971) is one movie which is eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today.
This movie was produced and directed by V Shantaram for V Shantaram Private Limited, Bombay. The movie had Sandhya, Abhijeet, Minal, Praveen Kumar, Sushant Ray aka Siddharth, Dina Gandhi aka Pathak, Iftekhar, Raja Paranjape, Ravindra, Basant, Presh Nanda, Birbal, Vatsala Deshmukh, Vasant Parekh etc in it.
“Jal Bin Machhli Nritya Bin Bijli”(1971) had eight songs according to HFGK. Seven songs have been covered so far. So this song would be the final song from the movie.
But there is another song in the movie that was not listed in HFGK. So another song will remain to be covered after this song.
Here is the eighth song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar and chorus. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
