1950s and 1960s were the decades when making the audience cry in movies was a tried and tested way of making movies. Making tearjerkers was the safe way to produce movies those days.
To go in the diametrically opposite direction and produce movies that make people laugh was always a risky proposition those days. No wonder that comedy movies were few and far between. But fortunately they were there. And Kishore Kumar was tailormade for such movies. So we find that there have been a delightful comedy movies in 1950s and 1960s, with Kishore Kumar in many of them.
“Half Ticket” (1962) was a Cine Technicians Production. It was directed by Kalidas. The movie was a laugh riot. It had Kishore Kumar, Madhubala, Pran, Helen, Om Prakash, Anil Ganguly, Shammi, Manorama, Tuntun etc in it.
This movie had six songs in it. As many as five of them have already been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth and final song from the movie.
The song is sung by Kishore Kumar and it is picturised on him as well. As picturisation of the song is rather brief and leaves the music lovers desiring more of the song. The audio of the song is complete and one needs to listen to it to feel fully satiated.
Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Salil Chaudhary.

Atul Ji, I think there are 7 songs in the movie, “Are Wah Re Mere Malik” sung by Kishore is yet to be discussed.
