Blog 10-Year Challenge (2013-2023) – Song No. 12

On this date ten years back viz on 27 January 2013, four songs from four different movies were covered in the blog. Here are the details:-

We can observe that one movie (out of four movies) whose songs were covered in the blog on this day ten years ago has since been YIPPEED. That leaves us with three movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (27 January 2023).
“Rasilee”(1946) is the oldest movie among the three BTYC eligible movies. This movie was directed by Hanuman Prasad for Jai Bharat Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Radharani, Sushil Kumar, Kanhaiya lal, Ramesh Gupta, Anant Prabhu, Ranibala, Meghmala, Shanti devi, Ramlal, Shaamlal etc in it.
The movie had ten songs in it. Five songs have been covered so far.
Here is the sixth song from “Rasilee”(1946) in the blog. Only audio of the song is available. The audio quality is very poor. It is difficult to make out several words. Even the voice of the singer is not regognisable. But going by the HFGK entry, this song is sung by Shamshad Begam. Gafil Harnalvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Hanuman Prasad.
