Lo chhip gaya chaand

Posted on: January 27, 2013

“Ham Panchhi Ek Daal Ke” (1957) was an AVM Productions movie. It was directed by P L Santoshi. The movie had Sumitra, P. Kailash, Kanu Roy, Majnu, Ranjan, Ameeta etc in it.

Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from this movie. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. The song is picturised as a lullaby song. I am unable to identify the lady singing this song to a tiny tot. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.

P L Santoshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by N Datta.

Nice little lullaby by the resonant Asha. She is always upto it. Trust her to come up trumps, always.
