“Veer Babruvahan”(1950) was produced and directed by Nanabhai Bhatt for Basant Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Mridula, Shashi Kapoor (senior), Baby Madhuri, Amarnath,S.N.Tripathi, Geeta Bose, Ananth Prabhu, Umakanth, Jankidas, Shree Bhagwan, Shaahji, Kanu Vyas, Lalita Rao, Urmila, B.M.Vyas,& Mahesh Bhatt(the later years director as childhood role of Babruvahan).
The movie had eight songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fifth song from “Veer Babruvahan”(1950) to appear in the blog. HFGK is silent about the identity of the singer. Listening to the song, it is clear that the song is sung by Rafi. Rafi excel sheet does identify this song as a Rafi solo.
Anjum Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Chitragupta.
The song is picturised as a background song while Mridula is visible in the picturisation.
