“Shanti”(1947) was directed by S U Sunny for Firdaus Art Productions. The movie had Vijayalaxmi, Jeevan, Afzal, Lathika, Sunalini Devi, Prathima Devi,Sharada, Shabnam, Munees Begum, Mustafa, Amir, A.R.Kashmiri, Master Ratan, Suleman etc in it.
“Shanti”(1947) had ten songs in it. Three songs have been covered so far.
Here is the fourth song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by B S Thakur. Shakeel Badayuni, whose remembrance day falls today (20 april), is the lyricist. Music is composed by B S Thakur himself.
Only audio of the song is availavle. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
