“Thokar”(1953) was produced and directed by Lekhraj Bhakri for Jubilee Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Shyama,Shammi Kapoor, Lalita Pawar, Paro, Jai Jaiwanti(Alias Ameeta) (Making her debut), Ravinder Kapoor, Chaman puri, Brahm dutt, Mumtaz, Vijay Bala, Uma Dutt, Satish, S.Kapoor, Rajan Kapoor, Prem, P.Nath, Johnny Walker etc in it.
“Thokar”(1953) had nine songs in it. Four songs have been covered in the blog by now.
Here is the fifth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Harsh Tandon is the lyricist. Music is composed by Sardar Malik.
