“Chandirani”(1953) was produced by P Bhanumathi and her husband P.S.Ramkrishna Rao and directed by P Bhanumathi for Bharani Productions, Madras. The movie (a trilingual movie) had Bhanumathi, N. T. Ramarao, Ranga Rao, Agha, Amarnath, A. Nageswara Rao, Vidyavathi, Kumari Thulasi, Hemlata etc in it.
The movie had nine songs in it. Two songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the third song from the movie to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Meena Kapoor. (the song link wrongly mentions Madhubala Jhavery as the singer). Vishwamitra Adil is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ms Vishwanathan and Rammurty.
Only audio of the song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
