# Lata Mangeshkar- 3rd Remembrance Anniversary #

Today 6th February’2025 is the fourth ‘Remembrance Day’ of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. She was born on 28th September’1929 and passed away on 6th February’2022 at the age on ninety-two.
Today we pay our tributes to this ‘timeless voice’ here on the blog. Why I say ‘timeless voice’ because this voice is a part of our life and it cannot be separated from our life. Four generations of Indians have grown up listening to this voice. It appeared to us that the owner of this voice would remain in our midst for ever. So what if she is no longer with us, her voice and her name will stay immortal.
Let us today pay our tributes to this great voice of our Hindi Films.
For today’s occasion I am presenting a song which I like very much and it was lying ready with me since long.
Today’s song is from the movie “Kabhi Ajnabi Thhe-1984” which was directed by Vijay Singh for ‘V.S. Productions, Bombay’. Vijay Singh not only directed this movie, but he was also the producer of this movie and had written dialogues of this movie and had done the editing of this movie too. The cast of this movie has Poonam Dhillon, Sandeep Patil, Debashree Roy, Ram Sethi, Iftekhar, Ramesh Deo, Seema Deo, Narendra Nath, Birbal, Jugnu, Raj Anand, Chunnu Mehra, Vinay Mandke, Indrajeet Ahluwalia, and others. Sayyad Kirmani, Barrister Sheshrao Wankhede, Prabhu Desai, Vishwas Raut, Ashok Mankad, and Pinki had made a friendly appearance in this movie. Shakti Kapoor had made a guest appearance in this movie. This movie was passed by Censor Board on 25.09.1984.
“Kabhi Ajnabi Thhe” had seven songs written by Dev Kohli (five songs) and Ravindra Peepat (two songs). Music for this movie was composed by Vijay Singh only. (So, he had donned the ‘hats’ of Producer-Director-Editor-Dialogue writer-and –Music Director of this movie). Here is the list of songs this movie has.
