“Marvel Man”(1964) was directed by B J Patel for Indo Africa Films, Bombay. The movie had Shakila Bano Bhopali, Mahesh Kumar, Polson, Rajan Kapoor, Shashimala, S K Shaam, Shree Bhagwan, Shyam, Suryakant Sukul, Dalpat, Chandrakant Sanghani, Dinesh Kumar, Prem Prakash, Shakuntala, Muhammad Azad (wrestler), Akram, Maulana, Nanak, Ghori, Amaran, Lala, Rafiq, Muhabbad Ali etc in it.
I wonder what was the story of this movie. Was it the story of a superman like character named Marvel Man ? I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the story of this movie.
This movie was a stunt movie. Most, if not all songs of this movie were sung by various female singers such as Suman Kalyanpur, Geeta Dutt, Mubarak Begam etc. Title on the movie was “Marvel Man” but it appears he only indulged in doing his “Marvellous activities in the movie while various females sang love songs for him. 🙂
Three songs from this movie have been covered in the past, all of them expression of love songs by female singers. 🙂
Here is the fourth song from “Marvel Man”(1964) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Suman Kalyanpur. Yogesh is the lyricist. Music is composed by Robin Bannerji.
As with the earlier songs, this song too expresses the feeling of a lady that she has fallen in love with her beloved and she is restless without him. 🙂
