“Baanke Sanwariya”(1962) was directed by Dhanpat Rao for K V S Productions, Bombay. This “stunt” movie had Jairaj, Chaand Usmani, Rajan Kapoor, Babu Raje, Achala Sachdev, Vishwa Mehra, Mirajkar, Madhumati, Jeewan Kala, Bholanath, Madras sisters, Azim Bhai, Madan Kenny etc in it.
This by now obscure movie had six songs in it. One song has been covered in the blog.
Here is the second song from “Baanke Sanwariya”(1962) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafi, Suman Kalyanpur, male and female chorus. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by S Mohinder.
Only audio of the song is available. From the vigorous music, one can guess that the song is picturised as a vigorous punjabi style dance performance of the lead actors accompanied by other dancers.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the movie as well as on the picturisation of this song.
