“Parinde”(1945) was produced and directed by Acharya Atre for Atre Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Surendra, Vanmala, Dixit, Babu rao Pendharkar, Sitara, Sunalini Devi, Balwant Parchure, D R Gokhale, Chandabai, Lallu, Vasant sawkar, Jairam Desai etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. Three songs from this movie have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from “Parinde”(1945) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Surendra. Rammurty Chaturvedi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Pt Govindram.
The song is obviously picturised on actor-singer Surendra himself. Lyrics are interesting. In the lyrics the hero is using “hawa” as a messenger to convey his message to his beloved.
