“Milan Ki Raat”(1967) was produced by Makin,Pratima,Yusuf and Prakash and directed by R Bhattacharya for Musical movies, Bombay. This movie had Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay, Prakash Thapa,Helen, Johnny Walker, Abhi Bhattacharya, Laxmi Chhaya,Jeevan Kala,Chand Usmani, S.K.Prem, Jankidas, Amar,Rirkoo, Moni Chatterji,Jerry, Mirza Musharraf, Master Ranu,Vijay Kumar, Shyama, Sulochana(Latkar),Shahid Bijnori,Paul Sharma, Ranoo,Rajan Kapoor etc in it.
“Milan Ki Raat”(1967) had five songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fourth song from “Milan Ki Raat”(1967) to appear in the blog. This song is a mother child song where the child (Master Ranu) is trying to calm his mother (Sharmila Tagore) with words of reassurances. The song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
This was the only Lata Mangeshkar song in the movie.
