“Khilaadi”(1968) was directed by Homi Wadia for Basant Pictures Bombay. This “social” movie had Nadia, Dilip Raj, Uma Bhende, Sujata, Sheikh, Suzie, Amarnath, Wazir Mohammad Khan, Vishwas Kunte, Uma Dutt, Dalpat, Habib etc in it.
The movie had five songs in it. Three songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from “Khilaadi”(1968) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Farooque Kaiser is the lyricist. Music is composed by Lala Sattar.
The song is picturised as a club dance song/ carabet dance song on an actress whom I am unable to identify. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify the dancer.

dancer is Sujatha(not to be confused with another Sujatha aka Sujatha Bakshi -> asst. choreographer/dancer),
Khilari 1968 dancer Sujatha I remember her in following films:
Ankhen (1968)(she appears as one of the main dancer in the song sequence “Gairon pe karam”)
2.Pyar ka Mausam 1969(she appears in the song “Che khush nazaare”as one of the main dancer)
3.Heer Ranjha 1970(she appears in the song sequence “naache ang ve” as one of the main dancer)
4.Kab kyon Aur Kahan (she appears in a dance song sequence alongwith Helen)
5.Jheel ke us paar (she appears in the vampish role of Mumtaz ‘s stepmother)
