“Darpan”(1970) was produced and directed by A Subba Rao for Babu Movies combines (P) Limited. The movie had Sunil Dutt, Waheeda Rehman, Rehmaan, Sulochana Latkar, Jagdeep, Ramesh Deo, Lalita Pawaar, Sonia Sahni, Mukhri, Achala Sachdev, Baby Guddi, Shammi etc in it.
“Darpan”(1970) had seven songs in it. Five songs have been covered in the past.
Here is the sixth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Lata Mangeshkar and chorus. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
The song is picturised on Waheeda Rehman and many others. It appears to me that they are prison inmates or lunatic asylum inmates or some ashram inmates in the picturisation. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of the song.
